We try to keep this site simple, including the cookies it sets. This page lists exactly what we use, why, and how to switch any of it off.
01 — What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. Cookies let a site remember things between page loads — whether you have already dismissed a banner, for example, or that you are logged in. Some cookies are set by the website you are visiting (“first-party”), and some by other services that the page embeds (“third-party”).
02 — What we use them for
We use cookies only for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary: to remember your cookie-consent preference on this site.
- Functional: to allow the embedded Google Maps studio location on the Engage page to display.
We do not use cookies for analytics, profiling, or advertising. We do not track you across other websites.
03 — Cookies we set
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| gmt-cookie-consent | Strictly necessary | Records your decision on this cookie banner so that we do not show it to you again. | Persistent (until cleared) | First party |
| Google Maps cookies | Functional (third party) | Set by maps.google.com when the embedded studio map loads on the Engage page. | Varies; see Google's cookie policy | Third party (Google) |
04 — Third-party cookies
The Engage page embeds a Google Maps frame so that you can see where our studio is located. Google may set cookies on your browser when this frame loads. We do not control those cookies; please refer to Google's cookie policy for details.
If you decline cookies via the banner on this site, you may also wish to use your browser's privacy settings to block third-party content from loading.
05 — Managing your cookies
You can withdraw your consent on this site at any time by clearing your browser's storage for goldmapletree.com; the consent banner will reappear on your next visit.
All major browsers let you view, manage, and delete cookies. The links below open the relevant guides:
06 — Changes to this policy
If we add, remove, or change the cookies the site uses, we will update this page and the “last updated” date above. For more on how we handle personal information, see our Privacy Notice.
